Giddy UP!

Ryan got this hat from my parents when they came back from the Philippines this past week. Jack decided that the hat looks a lot cuter on him than his daddy.

Exersaucer fun

Jack having fun in his exersaucer! This kid could jump all day if we let him.

Starting early

Jack has discovered the remote. In fact, he has a new fascination with it. I suppose it's because there are plenty of buttons, and most importantly it turns on the T.V. which he loves to watch.

Ah ha...this remote is mine.

Now if I suck on the end of this what channel will it turn to?

I was hoping for the History Channel.

Meeting Lola Francis and Ninang Morris

A couple of weekends ago, we were able to go and visit my Godmother Josephine, and also see my Auntie Francis. This was a special day since they met Jack for the first time. It was a nice visit and as you can tell, Jack had a wonderful time.

Hanging out with Lola Francis

Go Chargers

Yesterday, Jack received a Chargers jersey in the mail from his Uncle Frankie. So of course, his daddy had to put on his Tomlinson jersey too, so they could take pictures together.

Go LONG!!!

Seeing Jack in his mini jersey made Ryan's day as he walked through the front door after work last night.

Sitting tall

All of a sudden, Jack is sitting without any assistance. It was like it happened overnight. It was so cool to see him rolling like a log a couple of weeks ago and now this. Before we know it he will be crawling. (OH NO...babyproofing here we come)

Jack and one of his new favorite toys.

I love my new Sock Monkey hat!

Though daddy is sitting right behind me, I really can sit tall!

Happy Birthday LOLA

Hi Lola
Just wanted to say I miss you...
Have a great birthday, and we will celebrate when you get back.
Sending you a great big kiss and a hug. muaah
Love You!

Rice Cereal

Jack is almost 5 and 1/2 months so we thought we would give it a go with some rice cereal. He intently watches Ryan and I every time we have dinner. He is sitting up pretty well unassisted, so we prepared the cereal with some breastmilk. For his first try you'd think this kid had eaten this before. He is definitely a natural. Of course... he had it all over his face. He did swallow the cereal, and hardly pushed it out with his tongue which is a good sign that he is ready to have something else besides milk.

steady
yum
Let me try.

Rolling in the New Year!

Jack finally rolled unassisted. We have been waiting patiently for him to hit this milestone for a couple of weeks now. This video clip is of Jack rolling from his stomach to his back. The next step is Jack rolling from his back to his belly. Enjoy!

Boy was Ryan a proud daddy!

Family Slippers

We all got slippers for Christmas.
Well... Ryan got his Homer slippers for his birthday.
I couldn't resist taking a quick snapshot of how cute our feet look.

Thanks Heidi Page for the matching Sock Monkey Slippers. They are my new favorite! Jack seems to like them too!

Our little Jumper

Jack has really begun to love his jumperoo. He gets in that exerciser and you think he was a baby kangaroo "joey". We can leave him in there for 30 minutes and he is happy as a clam. At least mommy and daddy are happy... it gives them time to get some things done around the house.

Finding his voice

This past week, Jack has found his voice, he will use it so that everyone in house can hear him. It provides for some evening entertainment for us. :)

I also think he wanted to tell his Lolo and Lola he misses them.

Happy New Year

Check out our not so Little Baby New Year. Jack had to get in on the party action, he was excited to celebrate New Years Eve... New York Time. He didn't quite make it to 12 am but he sure did try. He wanted to stay up with the grown ups, because partying in the crib just isn't as much fun.

We are looking forward to celebrating every new milestone with our little man, Jack.

Christmas Morning

We woke up Christmas morning and felt so blessed that we could have a bundle of Joy this year. It was so much fun to celebrate with our little boy. Though he couldn't really understand what was going on, Jack had a good time checking out all the packages and tasting the candy cane wrapping paper. We look forward to next year and the smiles that he will bring to all our faces.

Smiling with his new found friend sophie

Yum, paper!
