Halloween LOOT

Jack participated in his first halloween tonight, and we took pictures of him with his loot. After only going to three houses, we were definitely wiped out.

Here is jack counting his candy.

"Dad, I am willing to trade my nerds for your snickers."

The Incredible Family

Halloween party

Jack got to go to his first official Halloween Party at our Mommy and Me class on Wednesday. He brought the cupcakes. The kids were ADORABLE dressed up in their costumes. One was a monkey, we had a couple of doctors, a bee, a lady bug, a lion, a cat, and of course, yours truly was jack-jack incredible. Here are of a couple of shots of Jack and his buddy, Sage.

Sharing the BOPPY!! Buddies for life.

Check out those LEGS!

Bedtime reading

I captured a couple of photos of Jack with his Dad. He seemed to really like the book that Ryan was reading to him. It was cute that Jack was swaddled and ready to go to bed. Even his wubbie got to hear the story.

So precious

Tummy Time with Dad

Ryan wanted to get in the action with Jack, afterall tummy time is supposed to strengthen his arms and neck. Ryan could use some toning : )

Taking time from his workout to pose for a picture.

Happy Halloween

BOO!!! Don't be too frightened by this cute little ghost!

Our first child

Our first daughter, Ginger...has had a hard time adjusting, but she is coming around. The first night she came home from my parents house, she was so excited to see us. Little did she know that in the next couple of hours she would hear high pitched screams which were unfamiliar to her. That night, she backed herself into the corner in the laundry room and shook like crazy. She also stayed outside, which she rarely does. She unded up sleeping in the garage on one of her beds. Ginger doesn't want anything to do with him so she just tunes him out. Lately, she has been coming around though. The other day while Jack was napping on the couch she decided to join him. She has been laying on his blankets, and tonight she found herself on the vibrating chair. I think she is trying to reclaim her territory.

No wonder Jack likes this vibrating chair it does wonders to my back.

This blanket is cozy.

Jack always hangs out on this blanket for tummy time, just needed to try it out for size.

Gotta love the boppy!!
We came home from church and Ginger was snuggled on the couch with the pillow.

Wubbanub!!

Jack has a new froggy friend, called the wubbanub. It is so cute and definitely is helping him with his hand eye coordination. Hopefully soon, he won't need mommy's help to pop that binky in his mouth.

I know I have bedhead!!

Who is that masked kid?

I love halloween, and the thought of being able to make a costume for my Little One makes me giddy. I toyed over different ideas and my friend Susan gave me this one. Afterall, Ryan and I are Mr. and Mrs. Incredible.

Love my new bebe pod

Jack has pretty good neck strength, so I thought I would try putting him in his bebe pod, though it is recommended for 3 months. So many of my online friends have put their little ones in them, so I figured...why not? I think he likes it.

He is so excited that he is drooling.

Good Night Gorilla

Last night we read the book Good Night Gorilla together. This was the first time that Jack actually sat through a whole book before going to bed. Hopefully we will have more nights like last night. I think he is enjoying his bedtime routine. Ryan and I are happy that he is becoming quite the sleeper.

Visiting Daddy

Jack and I visited Ryan for the first time at his work on Friday. We got to see his new classroom, and have lunch with him, (which Ryan enjoyed). Ryan also got to show his co-workers his son for the first time. He was a proud daddy.

Things change....

This week I finally got around to putting away the newborn clothes. I needed to do it a week and half ago, but I guess I didn't want to think about how fast Jack is growing, and how soon I will need to return to work.
As I was looking through pictures, you can see how much he has grown. Take a look for yourself.

Time with Daddy

One look into Jack's eyes our hearts melt.
If daddy could stay home with Jack he would. Though, Ryan misses out on some fun things during the day, Jack loves every minute that he gets to hang out with dad.

Mr. Bobble Head

A month ago I remember Ryan saying he couldn't wait till Jack had control of his neck. We called him our, "Mr. Bobble Head". Amazingly, it seemed overnight that Jack could actually hold his own head up. Those "tummy time" exercises in the morning must be doing its trick.

Look at what I can do.

sleeping through the night

This is the look you get when you have a crib party at 2 am.

Seriously...though he looks half awake, we ALL have been fortunate to be able to sleep through the night. Jack has made it the past two weeks sleeping 8, 9 or 10 hours each night. It is amazing.

Thank YOU GOD!!!

Love my Aunties!!!

I have been blessed with so wonderful friends. Jack is lucky to have many Aunties. He was able to hang out with some of his favorite ones today.

Gooooal

Jack is a soccer star in the making. Ryan was working late and was unable to see Jack and his first interactions with daddy's all-time favorite sport. Watch out Beckham, Little Shaw is on the move.

How many babies do you know can juggle the ball and suck on a binky at one time? I tell you that is pure talent.

How you doing??

Jack must be watching TV when he should be sleeping at night. He captured the Joey look from the sitcom Friends, perfectly.

"How you doing?"

I can't believe how fast this little boy is growing.

Silveyville Pumpkin Farm

Chillin' with the pumpkins

But I don't want to be a pumpkin!!!

Yay!! This was Jack's first field trip with his class. We loaded the two boys (Jack and Sage) in the back of the car and headed off to Dixon where we met all their classmates. Jack learned how they grow the pumpkins there on the farm. Soon after, we toured the farm on the tractor. We got to see the patches of pumpkins, lots of scarecrows, and even Christmas trees. All in all it was a lot of fun, at least Maya and I had a good time.

We love the pumpkin patch!! Woot Woot!
